    1. Provider & Scope

    These Terms of Service govern your use of Fable & Mind (www.fableandmind.com), operated by: Sitanan Pranamornkit Theodor-Heuss-Straße 2 63329 Egelsbach, Germany Email: fableandmind@gmail.com By accessing the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

    2. Services Offered

    Fable & Mind provides: • Free content: articles on book psychology, book reviews, romantasy recommendations, short stories, reading journal entries, seasonal polls, and free fandom quizzes. • Paid digital products sold via Stripe on this site, such as the Six of Crows Quiz Bundle (€2.49, one-time purchase). • Paid digital products sold via third-party marketplaces, such as the "Thinking Reader" PDF journal available on Etsy (fableandmindshop.etsy.com). Purchases made on Etsy are governed by Etsy's own terms and refund policy — not by these Terms. • Community features: comments, discussions, and leaderboard entries. • A newsletter you can subscribe to and unsubscribe from at any time.

    3. Eligibility

    You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, subscribe to the newsletter, post community content, or make a purchase. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

    4. Accounts & Community Conduct

    You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. When posting comments, discussions, or leaderboard names, you agree not to: • Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit content. • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. • Post spam, advertising, or affiliate links. • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

    5. Paid Products — Six of Crows Quiz Bundle

    The Six of Crows Quiz Bundle is a one-time purchase (€2.49) sold through Stripe. After payment, you receive an access link by email that grants unlimited replays of all three quizzes. Service availability: The Six of Crows Quiz Bundle is a digital service hosted on this website. Your replay access is tied to the continued availability of the service — you may replay the quizzes as many times as you like for as long as the service remains available. We aim to keep the service online indefinitely, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime or minimum service duration. If we ever have to discontinue the service, we will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice via the website or email. Because this is a low-cost one-time digital purchase (not a subscription), no pro-rated refunds are offered for future discontinuation; refund requests remain handled by Stripe as described in section 6. The quiz is an unofficial fan-created product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Leigh Bardugo or her publishers.

    6. Payments, Taxes & Refunds

    Payments for products sold on this site are processed by Stripe under Stripe's managed payments. Stripe calculates and collects any applicable taxes, handles fraud protection, and provides transaction-level support. Refund requests, chargebacks, and payment questions are handled directly by Stripe — please use the support link on your Stripe email receipt or the "LINK.COM* Fable & Mind" entry on your card statement. For product issues (e.g. lost access link), contact us at fableandmind@gmail.com. Products sold on Etsy (including "The Thinking Reader" PDF journal) are handled entirely by Etsy under Etsy's terms and refund policy.

    7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

    EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content delivered immediately (such as the Six of Crows Quiz Bundle access link), this right expires once delivery has begun with your prior express consent. In practice, all refund and dispute handling for on-site purchases runs through Stripe as described in section 6.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All original content on Fable & Mind — including articles, quizzes, illustrations, journals, and stories — is owned by Sitanan Pranamornkit and protected by copyright. You may share links and short quotes with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, resell, or use content to train machine-learning models without prior written permission. Purchased digital products are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Quizzes and reviews reference third-party works (book titles, characters, series) under fair use / fair dealing for commentary, criticism, and fan discussion. All third-party trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

    9. Third-Party Services

    We rely on trusted third-party services to run the site, including Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for hosting and database, Stripe for payments, Brevo for transactional and marketing email, and Etsy for external product sales. Each of these providers has its own terms and privacy policy.

    10. Disclaimers

    Content on Fable & Mind is provided for entertainment, educational, and informational purposes. Book-psychology articles are not psychological advice or therapy. We do our best to keep the site running smoothly but make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature or product at any time.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by German law, Fable & Mind is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its products. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or under the German Product Liability Act) remains unaffected.

    12. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its "last updated" date are always shown on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

    13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
