Hi, I'm Sitanan, though most people just call me Sita.
I'm originally from Thailand, studied in the UK, and now work in Germany.
I've loved fantasy books for as long as I can remember. What has always fascinated me isn't just the worlds fantasy creates, but what those worlds do to us.
They've taught me about courage, love, sacrifice, grief, hope, and the kind of person I want to become. Those lessons came from imaginary worlds, but they've shaped the way I see the real one. They continue to influence how I understand people, the values I hold, and the choices I make. Every time I finish a book or a film, I often feel like I've become a slightly different person than the one who started it.
Those experiences are what inspired Fable & Mind.
I created this space to explore why certain stories stay with us long after we've turned the last page, and what they reveal about who we are.
Maybe stories don't just help us escape reality. Maybe they help us understand it. That's what Fable & Mind is all about, and I'm glad you're here to explore it with me.
New features, articles, and ideas are added continuously, and the best way to stay close to it all is through the newsletter. Receive thoughtful updates, early insights, and occasional reflections directly in your inbox.
This website is completely free to use, and it's something I've built with my own time, energy, and resources.
If you find value in what I'm creating and want to help keep it running and growing, your support truly means a lot. Whether it's through a purchase of the Thinking Reader Journal, a small contribution via Buy Me a Coffee, or simply following along, it helps me continue building and improving Fable & Mind.
Thank you for being here.
